Two TT Electronics executives are taking part in a charity cycle ride to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support. CEO Richard Tyson and CFO Mark Hoad will join the final leg of the company’s charity bike ride, from its Bedlington site in Northumberland to its operation in Lutterworth Leicestershire, that is taking place over the weekend of June 11th.

As if that wasn’t enough, together with 15 other team members Richard and Mark then plan to carry on cycling for two more days and visit two further TT Electronics UK sites, Fairford in the Cotswolds and Rogerstone in South Wales - that’s a total of 250 leg‑breaking miles!

Says TT Electronics’ CEO Richard Tyson, “TT has been a long term supporter of Macmillan and their work has touched a number of our employees and their families.  Both Mark and I are very excited to join our team and take part in the ride. We’re hoping for a bumper amount being raised for the charity this year.”

Anyone wishing to donate should do so through JustGiving.  TT Electronics will match all monies raised, with these additional funds going to local community projects supported by the four TT sites that the ride links up.
