TT Electronics has been recognised as Large Employer of the Year by Sunderland College, celebrating the organisation’s commitment to developing future talent through high‑quality apprenticeship opportunities. A global provider of design‑led, advanced electronics technologies for performance‑critical applications, TT Electronics currently partners with the College to train 17 apprentices at its Bedlington site.
Amanda Rutherford, HR Director at TT Electronics, highlighted the importance of this partnership, saying:
“We value apprenticeships as they play a vital role in developing skilled, motivated people and building a strong future workforce. Apprenticeships provide our employees with meaningful opportunities to learn, gain practical experience, and develop their skills while contributing directly to the business. They also support continuous development, helping our people grow their careers while ensuring we have the capability and talent needed for long‑term success”.
The award reflects TT Electronics’ ongoing investment in people and its commitment to nurturing the next generation of engineering talent.
